Trivento Art Show
Trivento Bodegas y Viñedos is opening a new art show that will exhibit the works of talented Mendozan artists. The event is open to the public at Trivento’s Art Space, beginning 31 October 2011 and closing 28 January 2012. Entrance to the event is free of charge, Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM.
The exhibition includes paintings, sculpture and photography. Three media, from the portfolios of three important artists: Mariana Pretel, “Tachuela” and Marianela Sánchez, respectively.
“It embodies a celebration of the senses and expression, from this generous and always auspicious land. From Mendoza, along its paths of wine, we chose a group of artists that have decided to dedicate, present and establish themselves in art. We salute and celebrate their practices. ‘From Mendoza’ is the name of this showing, but it is also a concept that represents us. From Mendoza, to the world” --summarises curator and journalist Mauricio Runno.
Trivento maintains a global vision, bringing a wide portfolio of premium wines to the world. The winery firmly believes in its wines made under their own brand, and which preserve the character of the Mendoza terroir,
“Wines show us that life is a canvas that can become a beautiful work of art. This is why we believe so strongly in exhibiting the rich production of local artists to the world”, notes Mónica Caamaño, Marketing Director, adding: “Art and wine distill the essence of our culture, reflecting traditions of one era while giving shape to a world of endless sensations. Appreciating them involves coming to the place of their creation. Their naturalness opens the doors of pleasure, sensibility and close ties among those who share in their enjoyment. Mendoza has not only produced internationally recognised wines, it has also produced promising artists with an international trajectory.
