Norman Mailer y su epitafio

¿Piensa a veces en la muerte? 

Cuando estaba vivo Mailer respondía: 

"Por supuesto. Pero no tanto como cuando era joven".

Norman Mailer pensó en este epitafio, según algunos biógrafos: 

"He may have been a fool, but he certainly did his best... and that can´t be said of all fools".

Finalmente, el epitafio que aparece en su tumba, también fue expresado en una entrevista.
